About VVR
Their father traded in peanuts. It was only a natural transition for the sons to produce a snack of peanuts bonded together by sweet syrup. Started in 1968, capitalized on their forefathers’ knowledge of carefully choosing high-grade groundnuts, to make some of the best kadalaimittai in Kovilpatti.
Only the finest ingredients which are locally available – groundnuts, Â go into the making of this anytime snack. The nuts are pulverized and blended with not one, but three types of melted jaggery at V.V.R. to create nutty bars with a syrupy sheen.
The VVR kadalamittai store is located right in the middle of the Kovilpatti market, surrounded by the bustle of commerce and sounds of transport.
